CAPTAIN Panayiotis Kammenos Captain Panayiotis was born on1959 in Athens. He is married and has a son. Captain Panayiotis is a Master Mariner holding diploma A Class. His educational skills include knowledge of English language and basic knowledge of Norwegian, computer and internet knowledge. He has attended many further education seminars building an expertise in such things as rust protection for boats (wood, iron, aluminum, GRP) at the Norwegian company Jotun, occupational health and safety, conflict management, insurance claims, first aid, yacht maintenance, port regulations. He enjoys many water sports seminars and is the holder of a Life Guard diploma. His working experience as a ships Captain commenced in 1979, from that time until 1988 as a captain in merchant marine vessels and thereafter until today as a Captain in the service of professional yachts. Captain Panayiotis's vast experience at sea has given a great knowledge of Domestic and International Waters navigation. As a Chairman of the Pan Hellenic Association of Yacht Crew Members since 2007 he loves to organize seminars for officers and crews on Motor Yachts and always wants to anticipate the new tendencies. He is very serving, welcoming and nothing makes him happier than the serving with excellence, all his guests on board. He was on board of M/Y Proteus from 2005 to 2008 and now for the last 2 years. Sailing with Cpt. Panayiotis and his crew, will consider as the best time ever happen!             CHIEF ENGINEER Nikos Triantafyllakis Chief Engineer Nikos was born on 1973 in Athens and he is married with two children. He is a graduate of the "Academy of Marine Engineer" in Aspropyrgos, Athens. Nikos has accumulated his working experience from working on board Cruise Ships for 12 years and in the last five years in charter motor yachts, 4 of which on board of M/Y Proteus. Nikos loves scuba-diving and this year he obtained the Rescue Diver PADI Degree. In his free time Nikos spend time with his kids and dog and keeps fit in the gym. His English is fluent.             CHEF John Karageorgiou Chef John was born on 1971 in Athens. He is married and has one child. John graduated from the most famous chefs' college "LE MONDE" graduating with the highest degree. During his army service he also graduated the Computer and Signals School. He speaks English and easy communication with French. The years from 2003 to 2006 he earned further experience working in known Italian and Greek restaurants as a chef. From 2006 up to today, he has been onboard M/Y Proteus as a chef. One of his axioms is to use the freshest ingredients possible to create delicious and aesthetic plates that will indulge every palate. John spends his free time traveling with his family, keeping fit in the gym and participating in extreme sports             CHIEF STEWARDESS Peppy Pontikakou Chief Stewardess Pepi was born in 1976 in Athens and she has one daughter. In 1995 she has attended a course in social and political sciences. Since 2005 she has been working on luxury yachts as stewardess. Pepi besides waitressing, has also worked in hotel room service and bartending. She has a love of fine dining and cooking as well as a great interest in wines. Pepi is eager to take on any event challenge and has the ability to adapt and conform to any charterer's needs. Pepi's free time is dedicated to her beloved daughter, work seminars, books, and travelling. She is on board M/Y Proteus from 2007. Her English is fluent.             STEWARDESS Olesia Zimakova Alice (b.1990) joined Proteus in March 2011. She is a refreshing and very enthusiastic crew member. Her previous experience include crewing on yachts, waitressing in various restaurants and babysitting. She has completed her STCW 95 and her knowlege on Silver service, preparation of various cocktails and house keeping duties along with her love for children makes her essential on board. She speaks Russian, English and Greek. Alice will always go the extra mile to make your stay unforgettable!             DECKHAND Thymios Kammenos Deckhand Thymios Kammenos, was born on 1990. After graduating from high school in 2008, he joined several luxury charter yachts. Thymios holds Fire Fighting Appliances, First Aid, a speed boat license and an Open Water PADI degree. He is an experienced tender driver and loves to take guests and their kids for excursions, watersports and fishing. He is always more than happy to assist in every way that he can guests and the other crew members. Thymios is bilingual in Greek and   Norwegian and speaks English and German fluently. He loves diving and martial arts. During his free time, you will find him play soccer and watch his favorite soccer team           Home
